This game trains the ability to concentrate and listen and to recognize similarities and differences between languages. From naming cloths and textiles to identifying traditional dresses children get to know the people living in Europe and their languages. The „Sound-Play“This game focuses on the sounds we need to produce our languages. An “A” is an “A” but might sound differently in different languages. CD-ROM-Europe’s languagesA game for use on laptops and PC: On the screen children may click on a country to answer specific questions. Hats and caps have to be placed on the correct country, landmark buildings have to be distributed around Europe and culinary delights have to be linked to their respective countries of origin. All questions use various languages to lead children to the correct answer. Recommended for children 5 years+. Map of Europe with language scannerA huge map of Europe. Kids can walk on the map to discover Europe and its member states. Each country has a barcode. With the help of a laptop or PC and a scanner children can scan the codes and listen to various phrases in different languages. The map comes with 41 countries and 38 languages. In addition to the map there is a wooden puzzle to build Europe. Each part of the puzzle has a barcode too. In addition to the training of language skills, children learn a lot about Europe. Recommended for children 3 years+. Language cubesThere are sets of six or seven cubes. Cubes allow children to form phrases and sentences. Once a phrase or sentence is complete in one language, cubes may be turned around and the phrase appears in another language.
